Ed
Ed started playing bass at thirteen years old in Pemberton, NJ. In High School he played in bands that covered Cream, Grand Funk R.R., Led Zeppelin, CCR, Black Sabbath and other now classics. Now Ed's a classic too!
In 1972 at the tender age of seventeen he threw it all away and joined the Navy. In 1988 Ed bought his first left handed bass and started playing again. After twenty-four years of ships and airplanes he decided to get back to the important things in life. Now, Ed is playing music with The Duke Street Kings. From 2001-2005 Ed played bass with Hypnic Twitch, another local Denver area band.
Ed doesn't claim to be a flashy bass player, and readily admits to having no talent, but says he can make up for that by possessing a lack of speed. His favorite bassists are Sir Paul and Tim Bogert.
